One Love

A look like a vacuum pulls me into this vortex of ambiguity

How my body flows with a certain energy and reacts without a touch

I fall into this place of uncertainty – how something can be so clear in the depths of my soul

But so doubted in the  realms of my brains perception

Heart vs. Mind a battle of wits from the beginning of time

The deceiving film over our glossed over eyes I wonder if this is reality or only the perception I project to believe this love is true

My hands intertwine with your fingers and your smile sucks my soul back into you and I lose myself again

Where you start and I end – I cannot see

And I suppose that is what love is…is it?

True oneness – absolute wholeness – although I wonder how it can be so real if we can only feel it in moments

Why can it not be forever?

If it  feels like a forever love – infinite that knows no space or time

So I go back to my mind and review my doubts

And believe to perceive it as a childish imagination of fairytale love

I suppose in time, it will all make sense, I just know that in the silence of our minds

The listening to our soul – the answer to our pending questions will come to surface

And the love we imagine will be ever present in which we can no longer deny

So I envision

As I always have – you and I are one

One love
